I love all the detail you've put into the drawing! From the strip/seam on her
shirt to the loose string of beads to the wispy hair behind translucent cape
[would that be what it's called?], the time and thought that went into it really
shows. I agree that the proportions seem a little off...like her right arm [the
viewer's left] seems shorter than her other arm. As for her body, her bending
forward lessens the 'off-ness' to make it un-noticeable. All in all, I <3 it!
^-^ Where'd you learn to draw like that?
What drew me to this wall was, as others have already mentioned, the
perspective, coloring, and rock formations. I'd love to see the original
scan...
hmm...what I find interesting is that the rocks which seem to be above water
level are still very much green-tinged while girl and creature are
"normal-coloured". Nice wall =T
Great composition of the images. The time you put into coloring shows =] The
splashes of green look...iono, out of place in the pink, orangey-brown scheme of
colors but that's just my opinion. o~ I'd like to check out some of those
100x100's =D
Agreed, the bg brings the wall to life. My one complaing is that, while the bg
seems more 3D, the scan of the girl is more 2D, making it slightly...surreal I
guess? However, I like the stark contrast of bright to dark. Even though the
windows take up half the wall, their positioning gives the wall a nice
asymmetric composition. Nice wall ^^

its simple, & subtle. yet it catches the eye. i really like
it.
Exactly what I wanted to say. How did you do it in half
an hour? Did you have an idea of what you wanted to do beforehand? Or did it
just...come out?
I like how the arrows aren't just duplicates of one and that the grey behind him
isn't just a lighter dupe of him.
As xstellarx said, "real dynamic"!
xD Good memory and oblivious teachers make for a good drawing here! It could be
cleaned up some...(I can see faint blue markings) but otherwise, great two hour
drawing. Imagine if it had been confiscated just as you were finishing
There are so many small details to this wall! lol, you must have had fun making
it. How long did it take you?
What caught my eye when browsing thumbnails was the fact that he's throwing a
pot xD [I'm learning now]. I love the color scheme, different textures, all the
subtleties. Even with so much going on it doesn't feel busy! Great work. Thanks
for sharing. =]
[p.s. Where do you find your brushes?]
I agree with everyone else. Awesome wall.
Do you have a link to the original? I'm interested in seeing what the scan
originally looked like. I love how the dark swirls go with the title. I agree
with ange-argente about the monochrome scheme but I think it's nice the way it's
'unbalanced'.
lol, when you say 'There's not much to it.', I'm wondering what a wall that has
a lot to it would look like. And don't be lazy xD
Thank you for sharing this wall!
If you ever find the original, could you link it? I'm interested in seeing what
it looked like. er...Is it just me or does that cone's position make it look
like it's coming out if his nose ^^' Otherwise, nice vectoring
However, I wish that the bg was clearer...
How long did it take you to make?
I really like the bg of this wall. It's subtle and striking. I also like how the
green becomes orange inside. Iono if the text is distracting, but I think it
looks cool xD Plus, it's not as if it's in solid color or something.
Maybe...ventures didn't like it because everything else is rounded and the text
is angular? One thing though: Is the area in the lower right of the interior of
the circle supposed to be completely grey? or just a shadow type disk like those
in the center and on the left (which btw, are nice and subtle )
Nice job and Welcome to MT Hope
to see more stuff from you in the future ^^
I agree with Tama-Neko about the poppies...although wild roses aren't all so
multi-petaled...actually ^^' there's a rose with four petals but eunasahng is
right, most have five. Oh well, artistic license right?
The image is simple yet the details are there ^^ Like the frayed ends of the red
ribbon and the subtle emphasis on the petals using the pale outline. I also like
how the stem is fluid and curved unlike the rose stem most people have in their
mind's eye (long, straight, and thorny). I wonder what the spheres are
about...
I thought you might find this interesting:
Red symbolizes love (hm, really?)
Green - calm
Blue - mystery
Ello AngelKate,
When I saw the thumbnail for this vector on the gallery page, I thought it was
of Momiji from Fruits Basket...The eyes are different but...is the bunny just a
coincidence? lol, cute image and clean vectoring ^^ Thanks for sharing and I'll
be sure to check it out!
A...couple scan? O.o
lol, though I haven't watched this one, I find it interesting in that they're
having a picnic...at a table...watching what looks like storm clouds ^^
I agree with -Timber. Her expression is a lil scary ^^'
The cut and pattern of her dress are nice but the head dress thing reminds me of
the type that is worn in mourning...
Anyhow, I like the simplicity of it on the whole.
Thanks for sharing the scan candy-chan =]
lol, old school? The thumbnail may look blurry, but the actual wall? I love the
clarity of the wall. Your time and effort really show. Even the way the light
comes from her hand is realistic, if light coming from hands can be called
realistic, but what I mean is the circular slash below her hand. Wonder why she
looks so angry...Thanks for sharing this wall and home you submit a new
one...even though it's been what? over half a year?

agree for the middle girl. Otherwise, they all look quite cute ^^ I wonder
what the original scan looked like...Great job with not making it busy and
having the glow in the bg so it's not all black sky. Thanks for sharing this
wall =]
Awesome wall. I especially like the colors of the bg and how you made it look
like the sizzling roads on a hot day, except orange...so, fire, but not. Great
clarity with this wall. Thanks for sharing!
Interesting things you did with the bg photo. From the thumbnail I thought
there were two shadows but in the actual size, I'm not so sure. Great cg,
though if possible, taking out some of the grey areas woud make it even better,
especially in the face and hair. Nice layout and colors. Thanks for sharing
your wall. I'd be interested in seeing your photography =]
Great job with the layering. The effect of fire is well done and not overdone.
Him walking away from a fire...makes one think he might have had something to do
with it..Not color busy and strong, simple effect. Thanks for sharing this wall
=]
This scan is awesome
The wings aren't just opaque wing-shaped appendages. The sleeves of her dress
with their flower-like ends add another texture. What really makes this image
work, I think, is her arm reaching out. Perhaps this is because her mask-like
accessory obstructs her vision. I love the design and as buchket-shot said,
awesome gradients.
Thank you for sharing!
I've seen the scan elsewhere before and apart from the ecchiness, really liked
the tatoo-type patterns as well as that of their "clothing" that
reminds me of newspapers. The clarinet design with the ring is also
interesting.
I like the silver wheels in the bg. Not out of place like the lighter
crystal-like formations are. Those crystals also seem commonplace. The
gradient of lighting on the rings is also nice. Is it just me or do the girls
seem to be floating and rising out of the ring...awkward?

aww, too bad haruhi's feet were cut off in the original scan...
Nice job! Esp. for a first time. Seriously, where'd you learn to vector?
Well, you made a nice rendition of it ^^
She doesn't need to be cute to be drawn right? =x

I like the way you incorporated the scan. Reminds moe of a calendar page... If I were to suggest any change, it would be to change the text.
